TSA To Stand Before Congress

house-domeThe House Homeland Security Committee has announced that TSA will be on next week’s agenda to examine TSA’s Cadre of Criminal Investigators.

Subcommittee Chairman Richard Hudson (R-SC) stated: “At this hearing, the Subcommittee will investigate a glaring problem within TSA that was exposed by a recent report from the DHS IG. If TSA fails to appropriately classify its criminal investigators in the Office of Inspection to positions that are more consistent with their workload it could waste $17.5 million. This hearing will serve as a forum to examine the report and find ways to save taxpayer dollars while protecting the homeland.”

Witnesses that will stand before Congress Include:
• Mr. Roderick Allison, Assistant Administrator, Office of Inspection, Transportation Security Administration, U.S. Department of Homeland Security
• Ms. Karen Shelton Waters, Assistant Administrator, Office of Human Capital, Transportation Security Administration, U.S. Department of Homeland Security
• Ms. Anne Richards, Assistant Inspector General, Office of Audits, Office of Inspector General, U.S. Department of Homeland Security
