The LVMPD Sexual Assault Section is seeking the public’s assistance identifying and locating a suspect involved in a sexual assault. The incident occurred on December 27, 2013 at approximately 2:30 p.m. in the area of West Sahara Avenue and South Durango Drive.
The suspect knocked at the door of the victim’s residence. When the victim answered the door, he proceeded to force his way inside where he then sexually assaulted the victim. The suspect then left the residence and the victim was able to contact police.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult in his early 20’s standing approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 210 pounds with a muscular build. He has brown hair and brown eyes, a close cropped beard and a possible scar under his right eye. He was last seen wearing a light blue short sleeved button down shirt with an emblem on the left side of the shirt that reads “Cox”, dark blue pants and leather gloves.
Seen here is a composite sketch of the suspect. It is believed at this time the suspect is impersonating a Cox Communications employee. Detectives have been in contact with representatives of Cox Communications who have been cooperating with this investigation.
