Henderson Police arrest two men for attempted murder

Henderson Police have arrested two men for attempted murder in connection with a shooting that wounded two males on Monday night.

On Monday, June 27, four individuals were leaving the Wendy’s in the 11000 block of South Eastern Avenue when they were approached by two males. An exchange of words took place between the victims and the two suspects. The suspects fired several shots at the victims in the parking lot, striking one of the victims in the thigh and the other in the abdomen and extremities. Police believe the shooting was over a $200 debt.

Marc Anthony Sanchez, 19 years-old and Rhanel Immanual-David Ray, 19 years-old were arrested without incident last night. Sanchez was arrested during a traffic stop and Ray was arrested outside of a Henderson apartment. Both men are charged with two counts of attempted murder.

Both victims were taken to Sunrise Hospital. One had non-life-threatening injuries while the other suffered critical injuries. No one else was injured. Both victims are expected to recover from their injuries.
